KEY EVENTS 

17 Aug 1510 - Execution (beheading) of EDMUND DUDLEY, following conviction for constructive treason, following ascent of Henry VIII and subsequent arrest the previous year (Apr 1509).

20 Mar 1549 - Execution (beheading) of THOMAS SEYMOUR, 1st Baron Seymour of Sudeley, following conviction for treason (was charged with 33 counts of treason); was. buried in Chapel of St Peter ad. Vincula.

22 Jan 1552 - Execution (beheading) of EDWARD SEYMOUR, 1st Duke of Somerset, following conviction for felony; was buried in chapel of St Peter ad Vincula.

22 Aug 1553 - Execution (beheading) of JOHN DUDLEY, Duke of Northumberland, following attempt to seizure power and place daughter-in-law JANE GREY (and son GUILDFORD DUDLEY) on English throne following death of EDWARD VI; was buried in chapel of St Peter ad. Vincula.

12 Feb 1554 - Execution (beheading) of GUILDFORD DUDLEY, following conviction of high treason in Nov 1553. Was buried alongside wife JANE GREY in chapel of St Peter ad Vincula within Tower of London.

23 Feb 1554 - Execution (beheading) of HENRY GREY, Duke of Suffolk, following conviction for high treason due to role in failed 'Wyatt's Rebellion'; was buried in chapel of St Peter ad Vincula.

18 Mar 1601 - Execution (beheading) of SIR CHARLES BLOUNT, following conviction for high treason due to role in failed 'Essex's Rebellion'; was buried in chapel of St Peter ad Vincula.
